Detailed itinerary of the 4 Days Gorillas & Lake Bunyonyi Self Drive Tour
Day 1: Arrival in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. On your way, you will you pass via beautiful sceneries and rolling hills. Additionally you will have two stopovers before reaching the park one at the Equator for an informative talks and also to buy some crafts and photograph. Another stopover will be in Mbarara for lunch. Depending on your arrival time, you may have some leisure time to explore the nearby surroundings or visit a local community project.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Early morning breakfast at your accommodation. Head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers. Here, you’ll be assigned a gorilla family to track, and they’ll provide you with essential guidelines for the trek. The trekking experience can vary in duration and difficulty, ranging from a few hours to a full day, depending on the gorilla family’s location.
Once you find the gorilla family, you’ll have around one hour to observe and photograph these magnificent creatures from a close but safe distance. After the encounter, trek back to the park headquarters. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your accommodation or participating in optional activities like a guided nature walk or cultural tour.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Early morning enjoy breakfast at your accommodation in Bwindi. Check out and depart for Lake Bunyonyi, a beautiful and tranquil lake surrounded by lush hills.
Arrive at Lake Bunyonyi and check into your chosen accommodation, which may include lodges or resorts offering stunning views of the lake.
Afternoon is free to relax and enjoy the serene ambiance of the lake. You can take a leisurely boat ride on the lake, visit some of the nearby islands, or simply unwind and soak in the beautiful scenery.

Day 4: Depart to Entebbe
