Detailed Itinerary of the 10 Days Self-drive Gorilla and Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, meet with our representative to drop you a
car, and the will drive to your hotel for overnight in Kampala.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
This day with your pop-up roof 4×4 car rental embark on the drive to Lake Mburo National Park
western Uganda; it’s about 3 to 4 hours reaching the park. Upon reaching the Park will take a
late morning or early afternoon game drive to the golden savannahs that inhabit great of wildlife.
The game drive expose you to watching zebras, buffalos, lions, large herds of antelopes and
many other animals.
Following the lunch refreshments rest for a day and wait for the night game drive. One of the

Day 3: Explore Lake Mburo National Park
This day take a morning horse ride takes you into the adventure hub to fetch wild encounters in
a close range. The absence of elephant in the parks it very easy to do a horse ride with a
guaranteed safety. A horse ride takes several trials and the hours to spend in the wilderness
depends on the guest’s selection.
After a lunch consider an afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo the Larges Lake in the park. The
ride comes with variety of sceneries including; cliffs, hills, various vegetation harboring various

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
This morning will embark on a long day drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. With Lunch
in-route will reach the park in the evening hours, enter the park using Ruhiga gate and check-in
to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Agandi Lodge.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking
This is a gorilla trekking day, will take an early morning drive to Ruhija starting point reaching
here before 7:30am for the briefing. Then trekkers will be grouped in 8 individuals per group
assigned to an armed and then roll into impenetrable rolling landscape hiking through the
inflatable thick terrain of the forest. Must carry all basic trekking gears of long pants, jungle
boots, carry at least 1 litter of drinking water and rain proof gears.
Trekking may take 30 minutes to 6 hours, walking and searching for the endangered giants.
Gorilla are followed considering where they had their previous night, and meeting them, trekkers
have an hour before them. Watching gorillas is one of the few mesmerizing moments in the wild,
looking face to face with the silverback you realized these are really human closest relatives.
After seeing the gorillas you will return to the starting point, enjoy your relaxed lunch and take a

Day 6: Visit Batwa and Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
This morning will drive and visit the Batwa community, the people who live in areas around
gorilla forests. They inhibited in the same forests before they were evicted for the sake of gorilla
conservation. The exhibit their daily life and stories to tourist to earn a daily bread and deciding
to visit them adds a brick on their lives. Afterwards will transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National

Day 7: Volcanic hiking at Mgahinga
Today is another new challenge, ensure breakfast is taken, and pack with your backed lunch,
enough drinking water and hiking boats and take a hike to Sabinyo Volcanoes. The hike to the
summit of the volcano takes about 8hours and have to be prepared. With a lead of the guide will
embark to trek through various formed hiking trials.
This will lead through valleys, slopes, and hills of bamboos and tropics alongside various wildlife views including monkeys, and several birds. After will return to your lodge, you’re exhausted and just need to have your dinner and

Day 8: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Take your morning served breakfast, and board for long journey drive to Queen Elizabeth
National Park. You will reach the park in late afternoon hours, but consider a lunch en-route

Day 9: Explore Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today early morning with your packed breakfast will drive to Kasenyi section of Queen
Elizabeth National Park for an incredible game drive. One of the rewarding game drive with
variety of wildlife species including; elephants, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, buffalos, lions,
warthogs among so many species to watch accompanied by several bird species.
In the afternoon hours with lunch en-route will drive to the Mweya peninsular, for a boat cruise
on Kazinga channel. The wild boat cruise is an opening of watching more animals. Then, after

Day 10: Transfer back to Kampala
Today, it’s the final day of the trip, enjoy a relaxed breakfast, and in the morning hours will start
on your drive back to Kampala. With lunch en-route will drive to your lodge in Kampala then will

communication you are having with your immediate contact you have with during your drive.
